Appraisals & Valuations
Knowing the value of a work is the first step to protecting it.
As an Accredited Member of the Appraisers Association of America and court-appointed expert at the Court of Milan, I have extensive experience in valuing individual works and entire collections. My appraisals are prepared in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the International Valuation Standards (IVS), the international standards of the profession.

Research & Due Diligence
Research is the foundation of every informed decision.
I carry out in-depth art historical research and due diligence on works of art: I verify their provenance and condition, and compare scientific analyses, scholars' opinions, certificates and archive registrations, in order to identify any gaps or issues and provide a sound documentary basis in support of the judgement on authenticity. My research also draws on my own art library of some twelve thousand volumes.
