Frieze Los Angeles Is Moving to a New Location in 2023: the Middle of an Airfield at the Santa Monica Airport

by Caroline Goldstein     June 01 , 2022

The 2022 edition of Frieze New York may have just closed, but event organizers are already looking to 2023, when the Los Angeles edition will move to a new location: the Santa Monica Airport.

Slated to run from February 16 to 19, the fair will be held under a central tent designed by WHY Architect’s Kulapat Yantrasast and landscape director Mark Thomann, who also created the tents for earlier editions in Los Angeles.

Located at 3223 Donald Douglas Loop South, the new location is a short 15-minute drive to nearby attractions like the Getty and Hammer museums.
